This tells a story about me in three words... *Between Two Poles* ... but let me elaborate.
I am a 20 year *veteran* (all due respect to our brave military Troops protecting our rights, country, and freedom) of sorts in the mental health field.
You see I was diagnosed as manic depressive or *bipolar* (two poles) after being hospitalized in a psych ward for the first time on December 27, 1989, halfway through my original Senior year of high school.
So that Winter was the first breakdown and mental meltdown for me that started the journey of my balancing the fine line *Between Two Poles*
And *balance* I often say seems more and more to be my biggest challenge and life lesson of all that I have yet to master. I am and will be as long as I live, a work in progress.
Would you care to join me as I blog out my inner turmoil and well as insights of joy on this journey?
Come on, "For luck, for laughs, for the unknown," (as the young Magician Schmendric said in the Animated movie The Last Unicorn)
